The UWR Lab recently traveled to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to present our latest research at the 11th International Conference on Medical Robotics and Biomechatronics (BioRob 2026).
During the conference, our team showcased two conference papers and two workshop posters, led by students Minhong Kim, Colin Rubow, and Joey Brignone. In addition, Professor Haohan Zhang delivered an invited talk on the personalization of powered neck exoskeletons for individuals living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
The four-day event provided an excellent opportunity to share our work, connect with fellow researchers, and explore emerging advances in medical robotics and biomechatronics. Below are some highlights from the conference.
